OUR MISSION

Mission Statement:
Meeting the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of international seafarers and the local SeaPort Manatee Community.

About the Ministry

Located within SeaPort Manatee in Palmetto, Florida, Anchor House, Inc. serves as a refuge and home away from home for seafarers from around the world. Each week, hundreds of international crew members dock at our port—many weary, lonely, and far from their families.

At Anchor House, our mission is simple: to share the love of Jesus Christ through compassionate service, genuine friendship, and practical care. Whether it’s a ride to town, a warm meal, a listening ear, or a time of prayer, every encounter is an opportunity to reflect God’s grace and remind our visitors they are seen, valued, and loved.

Anchor House extends a range of services to the SeaPort Community, including:

  • A tranquil center for rest.

  • Transportation to nearby shopping areas.

  • Package handling for seafarers.

  • Worship services (upon request)

  • Ship visits.

  • Food and beverages for both seafarers and the SeaPort Community.

Our commitment is to create a welcoming and supportive environment for everyone in the SeaPort Manatee community.
